I am thrilled to part of Palomino Intermediates’s fabulous 5th grade team! I have been a part of the Palomino educational community as a teacher since 2007. I love our school and everything it has to offer our children!! I am looking forward to a successful year!
Education and Professional Background:
I have been in education, one way or another, for the last 20 years. I grew up in a small town in Iowa and moved to Arizona after graduating from high school. I earned my Bachelor's Degree in Elementary Education from Northern Arizona University. Go LUMBERJACKS! I have taught 2nd, 4th, and 5th grades all in Arizona. I love teaching English Language Learners! My own kids have four legs. In my spare time, I love spending time with my family, friends, and fur-babies or relaxing on the beach.

I aim to create a positive classroom environment where my students enjoy coming to school and where they feel loved and valued. All students deserve an opportunity to learn in a safe environment where they are respected and nurtured. In my classroom, We will work all year long to encourage and assist each student to grow to be the best they can be. I want all my students to feel that they are in a place where they can be themselves all the while learning. Students, parents and teachers must work as a team to achieve the best outcome possible.
